Once I was in love;
I was captivated.
I liked the feeling
Hence treasured it in my left lung.
Like a dog
Wailing its tail around the master;
I believed the tale of dripping honey
And stuck out my tongue.
Perhaps; I could lick every bit of it.
Not so long;
When I realized it was no honey;
But falling sharp blades.
Made of shining steel
That took off my tongue.
Killing me twice;
Making me dump.
The reason
I never could love again…
